Twannetta’s Story

I come from a family of 4 children, I’m the only girl and I have 3 brothers.  I am a native Floridian who absolutely enjoys the sunshine and warm weather activities, my favorite being a relaxing evening on one of our beautiful beaches. From a child I always knew that I wanted to be in a position to impact positive change in others lives. Through years of self discovery, several career paths and exploration I concluded that leadership, business consulting and marketing were areas that I could offer my gift of servitude leadership and entrepreneurship. Over the last 12 years I have worked diligently to sharpen my skills taking advantage of continuing education, managing large business development projects and teams in Fortune 500 companies, developing individuals for early careers establishment and mid-career transitions. When I’m not supporting business owners you can find me giving back to my community through mentoring programs, and volunteering my time and experience to charitable organizations focusing on developing job seekers and underserved communities. I aspire to inspire you to make a difference in the life of your business and the span of your career. Like so many others, during the pandemic my life was greatly impacted by unexpected job loss. I decided to do a career pivot and open the doors of my very own consulting business and I haven’t looked back. Today I operate A Better You Professional Consulting Services as Senior Business Consultant. In addition, I support a large insurance firm  as a Senior  Business Process Consultant where I help over 300 business owners in 3 states to install business processes, and marketing strategies to grow their insurance and financial services agencies.

One of my most notable accomplishments was as an operations manager and project consultant who successfully launched the hospitality industry’s most impactful customer focused timeshare return program for the one of the world’s largest timeshare companies. As project lead, I delivered timeshare return goals (estimated financial impact of over 10 million dollars in a 5 year period) while providing customers with viable inventory exit solutions from 2014-2020. I implemented the initial requirements, collaboratively created content and social media marketing strategies for the timeshare industry’s revered Scambusters program from 2015-2020, designed to counter scrupulous timeshare exit companies from targeting unsuspecting timeshare customers who were searching for viable timeshare exit solutions. 

Earlier I discussed my belief in continuous education and giving back to my community. Some of the charitable organizations that I serve are:  Florida Native Plant Society- Pine Lilly Chapter, Junior Achievement-Chicago, Central Florida Diversity Council, Boys and Girls Clubs of America- Levy Hughes Clubhouse, Jobs Partnership of Central Florida, Christian HELP of Central Florida, Braven-Chicago, National Council for Mental Wellbeing and many others.
